DKSD requires specific color and style of dance shoes and dancewear for all classes. These are a specific brand and color and must be ordered through DKSD. We feel a more uniform look for all classes creates a better learning environment. When all students are dressed alike, teachers can more easily identify imperfections in technique. Fittings are held in August and February. You may wear shoes that you already have for class, until they are outgrown. NO ONE will be allowed to participate in performances or recitals unless they are wearing the required class shoes. We will not be ordering frequently so be sure to get fitted before your shoes are too small.
